The Women's Fund of Winston-Salem would not be able to do its work without the support of dedicated and active volunteers who serve on the committees that guide the work of The Women’s Fund. Read more about our volunteer committees below and sign up for an introductory meeting with our staff to get involved.
Membership & Development Committee
Do you like meeting new people and telling them more about causes that are important to you? Do you enjoy fundraising? The Membership & Development Committee oversees membership recruitment and resource development, including recruiting new members, speaking about The Fund at community engagements, and engaging existing members.
Research, Education and Advocacy Committee
Do you love working with numbers and evaluating data for research? This committee collects and analyzes data and information regarding Forsyth County women and girls across The Women’s Fund’s focus areas and engages the community to move beyond research and grantmaking for collective impact, including developing educational events and advocacy activities.
Grants Committee
Are you interested in grantmaking? The Grants Committee designs and implements our grantmaking process using a racial and gender equity lens and welcomes skills in grant writing, reviewing grants, and topical areas related to our grantmaking.
